Alana sums it all up

Alana Vanderwijk was the lucky last in a series of successful third year Cookery Apprentices to proudly showcase her menu to the public in our Preview restaurant.
She was catering for a fully booked venue and achieved all the necessary tasks with a flurry.
Her menu presented, smelled and tasted wonderful and it was executed most professionally.

With a culmination of skills, knowledge, aptitude and attitude this student summed up the flair which had been demonstrated throughout the semester by all the apprentices.
It is an indication of the professional growth and maturity, we as their teachers observed over the years, that will take these young chefs into an asured culinary future and Alana is going to be right in the middle of it.

As this was the last in the series of 14 for this semester, my next post will be giving you the dates, available for bookings in our semester 2 2006, starting in July.
Just ring 43484383 during business hours and we are happy to accomodate your culinary requirements in our PREVIEW RESTAURANT.

Benson Sweeney impresses his Chef

Benson had invited his chef from work to "preview" his achievements at TAFE.
He was showcasing a menu, first developed for a Catering Control subject that now saw its implementation for the student run Preview restaurant on campus. (And open to the public.)
Allround a successful menu, which not only impressed Benson's chef, but also found aclaim with all the other happy customers on the day.

Adam Rutonski's Menu Show

Adam demonstrated a well thought out menu with flair.
The dishes were expertly prepared and presented by the class of third year Cookery Apprentice Chefs assisting in the execution of Adam's menu on Tuesday, 30th May 2006.
A restaurant full to capacity, appreciated the effort of this up and coming young chef.

Only a small, but capable crew in the dining room ensured the food was then served to a high industry standard, expected after consistent practice. Resulting in culinary satisfaction all 'round.

For your dining pleasure, you are invited to book your table at the PREVIEW restaurant during business hours on 02-43484383
