Ourimbah Cookery Apprentice Competition Winners

On Tuesday, 15th of April we held a very successful cookery apprentice competition at our Ourimbah kitchens. The competition was organised by HTN and Restaurant & Catering NSW and is an annual event in most regions of NSW and the ATC.
A total of 28 competitors took part in the local/regional show of cookery talent.
The apprentices competed according to their year and all had to present a three course menu with recipes and timed workflows. Two portions were to be prepared; one for the judges to taste and one presentation plate.
Most apprentices were also supported by family and friends, as well as their work colleagues and chefs.
Volunteer judges this year were teachers from Ourimbah Cookery section (Sandra Stowe, Shantel Elliott & Craig Williams)
